I took off the right rear duals today to try to change the frame bumper and discovered that both tires are cracked on the inside, and one of the air bags has cracks. I guess the good news is that I found this out at home rather than on the road. By the way, that 60:1 torque multiplier worked fine. From the amount of effort it took to loosen the outer nuts though, I bet they were torqued several times what they were supposed to be.
That torque multiplier does a great job, worth every cent!!
Lin that torque multiplier is awesome.........the tire cracking is serious.....cracking on the airbags, I took time to cut one up to see how serious it was......you would be surprised how tough those bags are when they have some cracks........but the good news they aren't anywhere near as expensive as the tires are........good luck!
