Post by: Eagle Andy on November 04, 2010, 08:22:06 PM
Iam not sure of the spelling on this bus , There is one for sale here in Miles city and it can be had for a song Iam going over to look at sat for a friend. I know nothing about these bus's do they make a good conversion ? at this point all I know is that it is a seated bus from a church the otr air is shot they did not want to repair it because of cost. It is supposed to have and I quote (the big motor in it ) any thoughts on this bus Thanks Andy

Could it be "Sentra"?  Churches are notorious for poorly maintained buses, so have an expert look at it very carefully.

BK would be the best resource for info since he runs Setra's almost exclusively in his fleet. I have a 215 HDH and I really like it, however there are some challenges to converting a Setra. Probably the most obvious is the dropped aisle, but the structure is all steel tubing so if you have metal fab skills it is not an insurmountable issue.

If you need more info feel free to contact me directly.
