I'm edging ever closer to being a bus owner and am so excited I can hardly sleep at night!!!
The current bus I'm negotiating on is a Prevost with a 8V92 Turbo with an Alison Tranny.
Anyone in particular you'd recommend to check this thing out for me? Also, any fellow busnuts in that area that may be available for some tire kicking too?
Thanks in advance.
Paul.
There is a local shop called the Eagles Nest on Henderson pike dr or something like that is what you ment.
I have been there they were a very good shop IMO.
Is it seated or converted? What year is it D-Deck or mechanical.
Does it have OTR A/C? Does it have the aux fuel tank?
How long? Is it an entertainer wheelbase or is it a motorhome wheelbase?
I am not in Nashville but you are welcome to phone me while you are looking at it.
e-mail photos if you have them ect.
Thanks so much Joe. It's DDEC and converted. 40ft. Waiting on answers on fuel tank and OTR.
Who did the conversion.
you have BK close Busted Knuckle & Hard Headed Ken close also Both very Knowledgeable and might have first hand knowledge of coach.
Why don't drive it to Prevost it Nashville or talk to Rich at Prevost there a former member here he probably knows the bus
good luck
wer'e probably hour and a half from nashville and looking for a reason to go there. might try visiting Eagle MFG. I'm not a mechanic, but i know what mine sounds like, know some things i've found wrong with mine, and i'm getting familiar with things that look ok but aren't.
if you can't find anyone else to go do an inspection, call me. i've usually got mondays and tuesdays open right now. i might want a couple bucks for fuel, but maybe not. depends on what you need and whether i can arrange something i want while i'm down there.
busforsale.com They are in Goodlettsville just north of Nashville. Good honest folks there with a nice facility. I bought my bus from them a few years back and it was a pleasant and painless experience.
