I received a GPS for my birthday a few months ago. I felt this might be a better solution as a speedometer than trying to fix the one in the bus. After a lot of trouble with a Tom Tom I got a Garmin. Both have speedometer readings but I felt the readout on the Garmin was not prominent enough. Then I accidently touched an area on the screen and voila- the speed is the most prominent display on the screen and I love it. So much so that I even use it in my work truck-which has a working speedo.
The GPS part of the unit is also nice but I don't need it too often.
Anyway I was wondering what other functions others find useful on their GPS.
I know some GPS's have bluetooth capability as well and seeing as how we must use handsfree cellphones in BC I wonder which has the best capabilities in that area..
In my mind what I would like would be for the GPS to display the incoming call's number VERY PROMINENTLY on the display.
Anyone have experience with this?
Thanks
