Going from Holbrook to Mesa. Hwy. 60-77 looks a little on mountain-est side with lots of curves. Oh wise ones please give me some advice. It's about 80 miles longer to go to Flagstaff and come down. Good Busin' Wilbur
Wilber,
I can't help with driving directons but would like to ask what is the hp and millage of your 8V71TA. what rpm do you cruze at.
Thank you
Don
It not a bad drive Wilbur we been that way in our Eagle and toad many times nice drive takes a little longer but you make that up by not driving through Phoenix from Black Canyon to Mesa the traffic is a bitch.
Coming down the mountain is the worst on 60 between Globe and Superior just take time coming down and you are on flat ground at Superior with higher temperatures lol you will enjoy that route
good luck drive safe
Don The last tank it came in at 6.6 mpg, Thats at 1800 rpm running 60-62 mph. We took a trip to Los Angeles from Wa in June, the whole route 55 mph. Drove about 57-58 mph and it got 7.29 mpg for the trip. Good Busin' Wilbur
I have also been that way several times and the drive is not bad at all.If you done any Mt. driving this is an easy drive. They have been doing a lot of work on I-17 so if you can avoid it that would be a good thing. And yes traffic on any freeway in Phx. can get really bad.
Don
Thanks Clifford and Don, That is the way I will go. Don I will be at the Countryside RV Resort off of Idaho Rd for a week starting Thursday. If you want to swap any bus lies, I mean stories stop by. Good Busin' Wilbur

Hey there Wilbur, we must be right behind you. We have stopped in Gallop New Mexico tonight and are headed up to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon tomorrow. Staying a couple of days at Jacob Lake before heading on in to Reno on Friday or Saturday. We enjoyed meeting you and Laura at the TBR. Hope to catch up with you again sometime.
