Title: Detroit 6v92T set up
Post by: eagle10 on August 27, 2006, 05:46:11 AM

Would I run into any issues if my 6v92T were set up from 2150 to 2300? Ideas?

I run the 8V92 in my Eagle 10 at 2300 rpm for at least 100,000 miles with no problem. This was full load governed rpm. I seldom run it that fast, but did run in the 2200 rpm up a lot of grades. I do not know what the top speed was but I could bury the speedometer at 80 and still had more left.

It won't cause any problems. The only time you would have to worry is if you were to go much above 2500.
