Title: Foam mattress supplier
Post by: NewbeeMC9 on September 27, 2010, 03:20:44 AM

I had bookmarked a custom foam mattress place that I had learned about on here, but that must have been a few computers ago.  I believe it was in Knoxville.     Does any body have link or have experience from their foam bed purchase?

Thanks

I ordered all my mattress from them.

Don't remember the exact flavor of foams.

I was totally pleased, I think they have been in the coach 3 years with no problems.

Sorry,

The link come up, but it is for sale.

I guess they are another victim of the slow down in the economy.  :(

Found this in searching my old posts;

Made to order in any size, standard a little cheaper.

We bought our bunks and master mattress from them

5" medium foam with 2" memory on top.

And we sleep like babies on them.

Not one complaint from anyone in the family.

Also purchased the custom zip on cover that they make.  Its Water proof.

Dianne has complained about the mattress in our S&S since day one.  We put a quilted topper on it, not much help.
She was at Bed Bath and Beyond a while back, they had their 3 inch queen memory foam on sale.  To make a long story short she got the $250.00 topper for $125.00.
We put it on, she LOVES it, no complaints!
Oh yeah, it has a really nice cover that comes with it, even nicer.

To refresh Florida Cliff's failing memory the name of the company is Knox Foam in Knoxville, TN.

Thanks to Cliff I ordered as he did...4 inches of foam and two inches of memory foam. They furnished the spray adhesive (should you wish to bond them) and custom made matress covers at a fair price.  They were shipped promptly andwrapped in heavy plastic by UPS.

It sure is Hell to get old isn't it Clifford? hehehe

Hi, I know they are pricey, but we went with tempurpedic mattresses. Good for them old bones, lol. We have full size twins though.

I bought our 2" memory foam topper off eBay. I was impressed by how small the package was when it arrived & how much foam pad came out of it. We put it on top of 4" firm foam which is on top of plywood. Never slept better.

We got one at CW 3 " Bed in a Box and they are great to sleep on over a 5" beauty-rest over 3/4" Ply . The wife and I and 3 cats. Yes they allow us to sleep there too. LOL
