Anyone know of a place to dump and fill around commerce, ga. We are on 441, at flying J there, but it is closed down. Heading north into the mountains from here up 441.
Ruthi,
Hope this helps: http://www.rvdumps.com/dumpstations/ (http://www.rvdumps.com/dumpstations/)

most campgrounds will let you dump..I have pd $5 before if they will take anything..
That web page say that the Petro at the same exit should have a place for you to dump.
Ruthi, go north to exit 160, there are now two flying j's on that exit. I am pretty sure the on on the left when you cross back over is moderen with a dump.
I was not aware the one at exit 147 had closed.
Thanks for all the help guys, I always know I can find help here in a hurry. Turns out, they just had the dump locked down. After going inside, found out that you just have to pay them before they will unlock it. 5 dollars with their card to dump.
Ruthi, We spent four days there once about a year ago, before it was a flying j it was a pilot for a short time, it was built as part of the williams family chain. idont know if the current management is the same, but they made us welcome, while waiting for a load...........good luck
longjohn, funny, now it going back to a pilot.
Ruthi,
If you're coming to NC might I invite you to stay a night or so at our Campground, we don't own it..just rent seasonally, in Franklin on 441?
It's Country Woods RV Park and you'll find not only us but lots of congenial campers who appreciate buses.
NCbob
Hi bob, thanks for the invite. Looks like we will be in NC the end of October, but, dont know if we will be close to you, or the timeline. But, if not, we come that way a lot, and I am sure we can arrange it when we start our work back after the first of the year. What months are you there?
Hey bob, I just looked at the map, The guys are only about 30 minutes from you right now. They are doing a store in Clayton, Ga. right now, just south of you. They will be there til Wed, eve. If you get a chance, you should drop by. You will see the bus in the parking lot. Our paper hanger, Terry Bennet is there too, he is hanging the wall paper tomorrow for us. He wrecked his bus a couple of months back, totaled it, now is in a RV. They will be heading to W. Virginia when they leave there. I will tell them if they have the time to come by. I took some time off this yr from the traveling. I will be back on the road again tho the first of the yr.
