We're planning on heading into central Missouri at the end of next week, providing the weather doesn't get cold. We have a motor bike and enjoy riding, scenery etc, not much into the arts thing but do enjoy some history. Any must sees? Also if anyone can point us in a diection of a reasonably priced RV park that will accomidate our MC9 with a 14' trl that would be apprieciated.
Thanks

Lake of the Ozarks...camping bike trails and all ..In the Ozark hills (like mini mountains)..lots of good food ,camping, bike riding destination..
Branson area is still great this time of year. The Lake Ozark area shuts down this time of year. There are still stores and such, but much of everything is closing up for winter.
The Branson are has tons of stuff to do. I have not tried to stay in the Bus at any place, there so I have no recommendations on that. My family makes it to Branson and Silver Dollar City 2 to 3 times a year.
Thank guys, very much appreiciated. Was hoping we might catch the tail end of the season , but it sounds like things might be closed, oh well, still nice country and it will be nice to get away
Don't forget that Christi Hick's rally will be going on about then. :)

I live in Ozark, about 5 miles south of Springfield in the SW corner but can help with info for you in central area. As was said Lake of the Ozarks has tons of trails and bike paths to explore around the lake, almost all very pretty. Lake Ozarks has a large outlet mall there with lots of big names if you're into that. Lake Ozarks is still going this time of year but much less fenetic than summer, actually kind of nice 'cause traffic is less, residents/business owners are less irritated by bad tourists, etc. If you're into history, especially Civil War hx, the the Springifeld/Branson area is really more for you although there are some Civil War things around Lake Ozarks.
I am currently in Baltimore but if you need more specific info, pm me and I will be able to help more. Several RV parks in Branson area that can accomodate you.
