Last week when El Sonador was stuck roadside, numerous bus nuts posted offers for help. At least one, maybe more?, had been posted to the old board. Unfortuantely, at the same time, we were sustaining a huge onslaught of spam. In the recovery process some of the posts were lost. This was one of them, which I was able to recover from the "smoldering ashes" of the old board. I thought that this looked very helpful -

Steve , On my board I have a "Help Assist" list. It is free for anyoe in the country. Lots of great folks have submitted their names and phones numbers and are willing to help folks like you. I am not too good at getting these extra links to work so in case the link at the bottom doesn't work go to: www.cruiser-magazine.com and click on the yellow "Help Assist" box and then go to the list/ There are some people listed that are near you, I think.
Good luck. Steve

Thanks Dave!
The Help Assist List is Great TOOL!
Thanks Dave Siegel, for listing it in your site!
I'm listed in it!!

I never realized it was there.
I just put my name on the list.
Would it be OK if I put a link from the help list to my site and my wifes site?
Also, anyone who has a website or even just a personal web page, put every link up that you can,
You never know when you'll need help, and I see a lot of places that aren't represented.
Of course the ones who aren't interested will be the first to call when they break down.

It must be soap box day.
Sorry, but some of these topics hit home.
