I found my bus, but I have no idea what and how old, it has been RV-ed, but the outside looks "original". Any pictures available? I "want" this bus for some stupid reason and even my wife agrees, so while the iron is hot ;D

Altho the windshields look like those found on Aerocoaches, I don't think it is one.
Based on where you found it, it could be an early MCI or maybe a Western Flyer, both Canadian-built.
It's definitely late 1940s vintage, tho.
If you can get inside, you'll probably find a builder's plaque somewhere that will help solve the mystery. If you can't get inside, maybe a ladder, a very strong flashlight and a telephoto lens on the camera?

(Sorry guys, I get philosophical on Fridays. I had a great weekend in my bus last weekend, but also got reminded of all the little things I need to do).
I am going to go with what RJ Long that it's not a Aerocoach but I am going to say it's a Western Flyer what model I am not sure of.

Ok Folks the question is solved.
Per the book by William A.Luke & Brian Grams- Busses Of Motor Coach Industries 1932-200 Photo Archive.
On page 21 shows a MCI Courier 200B 1949 model that was operated by Eastern Canadian Greyhound Lines.
It had a rear engine Continental 6 cylinder gas engine.
So it's a grandaddy to the MC-9's.

I'll have to disappoint you a bit :D I don't like pro-wrestling and/or football, we don't even have television. She is a professional cook and I would have to ask her about fishing, all I know is that I can go fishing whenever I want to. Nothing is perfect, but getting close is the trick ;D

I like how the caps join at the "belt line" at the bottom edge of the windows. Leaves opportunity to do a roof raise! This thing was built when the average height was about 4" less than now!

Wow, ya gotta love that bus! It will be a beautiful. I'm guessing that Ford PU is a '56. Wasn't that the first year with a wrap around windshield or was it '55? Whatever, that would be my second favorite project. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Hi Dennis The grill on that old Ford gives it away Ford used it for only one year 54 I have one :) 53 has teeth 55 & 56 differant than 54:)

Raising the roof? more space on the inside, I get it, but it would wreck the looks of it. I thought I could lower the floor a few inches, where you walk only and solve it like that. I have to wait until I know more, this is going to take a few years if the ammount of work doesn't seem too much. I would be stupid to wreck it further in my yard and never finish it. Then someone else better has a go at it and save it for the future.

Naw, dig a little deeper and find the "artiste" that resides within you!.
Personally, I'd increase the height of the windows, but judicious insert of spacing would match the lines close enough to confuse all but the very knowledgeable and greatly increase it's utility to you!
Look at it as the opposite of a "chop and channel" hotrod project!
LOL ;D Thank you Burgermeister. I'm reading up on the subject. It might be more than I can handle financially, but I wait till I can have a better look at it. I'm four phone numbers closer to contacting the owner. It's parked in a lot, which is rented out to different companies that allow their customer to park or in this case dump their vehicle there. If they want a fortune because it's old, then I'll be looking for the next bus that touches me :) Or, I'll go with the 6x6 vintage army truck and build my "RV" in a trailer. I'm trying to get some response from MCI too, but on a Saturday? It might take them a while to contact me. I really like your bus find, and do hope you can procure it. It sure looks tall and quite complete from the outsides.
