Looking into buying some Roadside Assistance from either Progressive, Coach-Net, or AAA RV. I've already checked into Progressive but I can't seem to get Roadside Assistance from them unless I buy full coverage insurance from them. I do like their Roadside "sign and drive" policy instead of waiting to be reimbursed. I can't seem to find out if Coach-Net is "sign and drive" or "pay and be reimbursed" from their website. I haven't checked into AAA RV yet but planning on it and maybe Good Sam too as a last resort because of their junk mail spamming. Does anyone know which companies offer Roadside Assistance programs that are "sign and drive" without having to pay out of the pocket on the road and then waiting on reimbursement???
Coach Net is sign and drive no out of pocket cash
good luck
Coach Net I found was the only one that did buses. Sam's kept sending me stuff to sign up but when I tried too they said Oh a Bus is it less than 12 years old and you would have to have a regular RV?????????????

Dave,
You're talking about RV repair insurance, not emergency roadside assistance.
RV repair insurance is only for newer vehicles, it is really just another version of extended warranty service.
I've had Good Sam emergency roadside assistance for 5 years and my bus is a '54.
So far Coach-Net looks pretty good but I'm still trying to read between the lines. On their website they say "Will tow your disabled vehicle to the nearest qualified repair facility regardless of mileage or dollar amount". I wonder what exactly constitutes a qualified repair facility. Does that mean they can tow it to Bubba's Diesel Repair and Bait Shop or does that mean a Detroit Dealer or reputable Bus Repair shop??? Also it looks like you might have to buy 3 years of service to sign up. They made mention that you could "transfer" it to another RV if you traded but no mention of any type of refund if you drop their service because of selling the bus. Lots to learn here.
Coach Net will give you a choice I never had a problem requesting a DD dealer same if you request a low boy or a hook and they will not send a 1 ton wrecker for a bus they get it right the 1st time
good luck
i just called coach net for fix a flat. the guy was there in about 45 min, and i'm not even sure i signed anything. all was good. i also called them in february when my starter went south at a walmart. they called the guys in lakeland that i wanted them to use, talked them into being a tow/repair, and they showed up, replaced the starter and only charged me for the starter. Very good at Coach net.
i also have AAARV plus that i could have called, or gmac has a coverage along with my normal insurance on the bus.
by the way, our coach net is thru escapees, could have been thru fmca, but its a 3 yr purchase at a discount thru them.
