Are MC7 rads the same dimensions as MC8 rads? ?

Not absolutely sure, but if I recall correctly, the MC7 radiators are smaller (shorter). Jack
Mark I have 2 rebuilt 7 radiators...bought for my 8 but the outlets were in wrong place..was supose to be 8 radiators..do you want me to measure later.so you know their deminsions? Bob Nothing I say is from a point of expertise and should not be taken as such..
the ones I have are 6 inches thick 19 inches wide and 24 inches tall..Not for sale going to trash..these measurements are for the ones I have .
The parts coach Im looking at is an 8, with an 8V 71 and automatic. I kind of expected there to be a difference in the 7s and 8s.
Sure would be nice if they were drop-in replacements.
I believe that the radiators in the 5 and the 7 are the same. My 5 radiators are 19x24. According to my parts book the number is 68-1-1 for the LH and RH radiator assembly. Do you have a book for your 7? check the numbers and see if they are the same.

I expect with a plasma cutter I could make them fit. ::)

I put some 8 rads in my MC-7. the're 4 or 5" longer. Had to cut out the bottom framing and rebuild. Wasn't to bad. I can measure if you'd like. Don't know if all 8's rads are the same.
