I would like to know how it works. I do not carry a spare tire.
Do you pay a one time yearly fee?
How much is the membership?
Is there a discounted charge when they get there or is it free if no parts are needed?
What is the best service that is nation wide?
Bottom line is the cost of it worth having?

Yearly membership is $119.00 IIRC
I dunno, never used parts on the road,
This is the only service I have subscribed, used the tire service once, and they were vigilant in calling as to the timeliness of the local provider.
I have jacks, blocks, X-10 wrench and such, but feel the road service is worth it to me. It is you call.
Next trip not sure I will be carry all the heavy jacks & X-10 etc ...

Coachnet for me if you don't have a spare they won't buy it but you can make deal with service co to bring one that is the way I do it plus they have a tech center if you are having problems you can talk to a tech about anything from fridges to engines well worth the 100 bucks a year.
I do a little phone tech work for them on the 2 strokes for guys not wanting to go to a shop, they are moving the operations to the Dallas area in a few months from AZ don't know how that will work out but they tell me service will be better

AAA RV protection for me. Not even sure what I pay and dont care. They ALWAYS have responded promptly and will tow up to a hundred miles at ZERO cost.

Only you can decide if it is worth it, depending on your financial situation.
I had roadside assistance for 16 years and never used it. I haven't had it for 6 years and have never needed it. So If I need a tow I will pay for it and still be money ahead. I do carry a spare and the tools to change a tire. My personal situation is that if I need road service I will pay for it out of pocket and it will not be the end of the world. I know that the peace of mind of having roadside assistance is worth the cost to most people. So, you may or may not need it depending on your comfort level.
I an a fairly competent mechanic and keep up with the maintenance on our bus. In almost 21 years of bus ownership I have never had a situation where we were unable to fix whatever problem arose. And only a few times was outside assistance needed.

Ive used Progressive for running out of fuel and getting a jump start. They have been real good for me, even when out of state.

We haven't had to use them yet, but for us it is great insurance. Our bus is not an easy tow (with the height).
