Title: Bus roof steel ribs!
Post by: grantgoold on July 31, 2010, 11:33:48 AM
Folks, I have a 1984 MCI 9 and I need a picture of the top side of one of the roof ribs. I would love something very close to the curve of roof. Please help if you have access. If you have an accurate description that might also suffice. I am particularly interested in if the tubing is solid with wings for the roof skin rivets or if the tubing has a center valley on the top side which would preclude us from tap and die into that material.

Upated: I understand the ribs are HAT channel. If someone has some of the curved HAT channel I would sure love a piece about a foot long. Anybody?

Regards,

Grant

John
