Ok folks am going to finally install my air throttle in my bird , Iam using willliams parts and peice's. for those who have installed one are there any do's and don't that I should be aware of . I have delt with the cable long enough . Iam using 1/4 inch dot line and I will be installing the trans module . Iam I correct that where I tee off the supply line back to the engine , The distance between the module from the tranny to the air throttle should be the same lenth ? Thanks open to any and all comments . well with in reason lol Thanks Andy
Andy, did you get a drawing with your Williams Air Throttle? If not I'll post a drawing on here for you. I was told to add a new pressure supply and regulator just for the air throttle. This drawing shows just about everything I believe.
Thanks Pat for the drawing , I did not get a drawing as I peiced this together .I can't tell by the drawing if the lines are of equal lenth was kind of fuzzy. I will go to there site and see if I can find it . Thanks again Andy
PS I look at your pic of your project Nice Work
I ran 3/8" tubung from the accessory tank under the drover's seat (MCI) through a regulator set at 80 PSI (you may need a different setting to get the right "feel") to the pedal assembly. Then 3/8" tubing to the engine compartment and installed a TEE fitting. From TEE, I ran equal lengths og 3/8" tubing to the throttle actuator and to the transmission, connecting with 3/8" tubing to 1/4" pipe thread fittings. I am prettyy sure this was all per Williams specs. Jack
