Title: Any snowbirds needing a place to nest this winter?
Post by: eddiepotts on July 28, 2010, 11:11:52 AM
This can be moved or deleted if needed. I have a fully furnished lake house down here north of Houston that has room for bus parking. Great place to do some work over the winter. PM me if intrested.(https://busconversionmagazine.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi182.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fx154%2Feddiepotts1%2F0421071435.jpg&hash=abb02edeb811f2fcd8d231c9c5f55a2978daa795)

Thanks Chaz, It is only an hour and a half From the house I live in so I don't use it as much as I should. There is always next weekend if you know what I mean. PS the fishing is great.

Nice looking place, but you were somewhat unclear on what you are looking for?  Are you looking to rent the house?  or rent the bus parking?  or just have company through the winter?

Sorry Gumpy your right. I am looking to rent the house for the winter. I don't care if it is for a month or for 6 months. I do not use it much during the winter so I thought I would offer it to a nut that would like to get out of their bus for a few months to do some inside work or just to get their partner into some more room for awhile. It is a 2 bedroom 1.5 bath. Both rooms and full bath is upstairs. Think about that. Can everybody do stairs everyday. I will let it rent during the summer too if anyone likes for a weekend, week or month. I just thought it may be useful to someone this winter. The fishing is great and the boat sits down in the water year round.

Eddie,
I have probably been through Texas approaching 50 times and I have never seen a part of Texas that looks so lush and beautiful as those pictures. There was beauty in San Antonio, Dallas and Austin but it was a rugged sagebrush kind of beauty. That cabin and lake look like Brainerd Minnesota. Just full on dead gorgeous.
Someone's gonna have a great winter.

All the best

Rick

Thanks John and Rick. It is real close to Lake Livingston. It sits on a private lake about 100ac. Water is spring fed and mostly clear. Like everywhere else when the winter comes the leaves fall and it looks like sagebrush. It is nice to sit in the evenings around a fire and enjoy the sounds of nature.

Eddie,

Thanks for the offer. I will keep that in mind. There might be sometime that I might want to rent if for a while.  Time will tell.

Thanks again.

God bless,

John
