This is what happens when you pull onto grass, after a lot of rain, and you don't check to see what the ground is like. Note to self...

And then a pic of the back axle.

God bless,

A little tractor!!!! ;D ;D
Great pics!
The term "HIGHWAY" coach means just that.
If you choose to drive on anything but improved surfaces, best to know where to attach the chains so you don't pull parts off your "SWAMP" coach when the tow gives a tug.
happy coaching!

What Scott said!!!!!
Who owns the Eagle?
That's something that will never happen to me! ::)
The guy that owns the bus, used to be on this board. He hasn't been on here in a long time though.
That bus was pretty stuck. I have a feeling somebody had a "sinking" feeling when they got stuck. They were fortunate that they could get the chain on the bus. They had sunk down far enough it could have been tough attaching the chain.
God bless,
John
Also, if the wheels don't have traction, just wait for the chains or strap to give you a little forward tension.
Digging in doesn't help.............
It rained 4.5 inches last year, and the wrecker driver quoted me $1,000 to yank it out if'n it gets stuck. I opted out for three loads of rock, and a tractor to spread it at $40 an hour.
Still cheaper than the wrecker.
Been there ... done that ... got the T-shirt.
BCO
I don't think you should mention this to BK or Don. They are sensitive to being stuck.
Made for a good start to a rally though.
uncle ned
That is a cute little tractor.
But you gotta remember why Don decided to go boondocking, he's got a really nice target,,,, I mean truck lol.
I have been there. But it was nice and dry when I parked then 3 days off rain came. I was lucky A 350 ford pulled me out.(https://busconversionmagazine.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi182.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fx154%2Feddiepotts1%2Fsunkbus.jpg&hash=de3845d842fa932faa701fc3a4d61bd7b8ebab4d)
John,
Did they just tie on to the tow pin in the front bumper behind the Eagle emblem? I have this awful vision of pulling the nose of the old girl.
