Title: air hose type fitting for lp gas ? or ?

 hi i would like to have a fitting to use for a gas fire pit something like a air hose ? any thoughts on how to do this ? my lp tank
has a tee with a plug  thanks john

You can buy quick disconnect type fittings rated for LP gas at Camping World and Northern Tool. About 8 bucks each.

You should use the complete kit that includes the hose.  LP gas hose is specially designed with what is called a "pricked" cover to let the propane that does penetrate the tube and reinforcing out.  Probably not an issue on hose that is after the regulator, but I would still use the purpose built system.

You need to use approved low pressure propane connectors (high pressure is a different connector).  It needs to be a double shut off type valve so that propane doesn't spew from the hose when you disconnect, as it would with an air hose.

 hi thanks i will use lp gas hose does anyone have a picture of the fittings ? if i cant find them hear in costa rica.
