John -

Nice coach!  Am very impressed by how clean the aluminum siding is, considering the coach is 50 years old!

Who painted it for you?  I like the simplicity.

IIRC, the two things in the cockpit that you aren't sure about, one is a rudimentary cruise control, the other controls the water flow to the defroster core.

Again, IIRC, to use the "cruise", you turn the T-handle 90o, pull it out to where you want it, then twist it back horizontal to hold.  NOTE:  It does NOT release when you tap the brakes!

The round knob is for the defroster's water flow.  If you pull off the panel next to it in the vestibule, you'll see how it works.  Chances are good that it's stuck - another little project for you!

Again, nice coach.  Take care of it, and it will give you years of good service.

FWIW & HTH. . .

;)

Great thank you.   I can't move either one of them so yes more to do!  I am new to these buses and learned much.  I used a product called Everbright on the metal.  It did not come out as well as they seemed to imply but it did restore the lustre.  http://wwweverbritecoatings.com (http://wwweverbritecoatings.com)
