Working for me...could be that the web hosting page is in your cache - try Ctrl-F5 to clear it. Or it could be that the site is up-and-down

It's working for me too.
Sometimes out on the world wide web there can be a router go down and it can take a few minutes to a few hours for the web to route around it. During that time a site can appear down to people who get routed through the bad router. It can have nothing to do with your ISP or the site's hosting provider. Just one of many "hops" as the connection gets passed through the web.
I tried a different computer and still got the same thing is it possible that he has some way of blocking me even with a different computer that hasn't been on his web site?> Jerry
No matter what I am unable to access the frybrid web site and all I get is uk2,net so amounts to the same thing he is somehow blocking me and will not ship my order or even answer my e mail requests so it's still theft to me. Jerry

It's technically possible if both computers are using the same connection (IP address) - but I don't think that's likely as it wouldn't be a straightforward thing to do. I suspect HTR has it right

Interestingly UK2.net is a British hosting company; nothing to stop an American company hosting in the UK, but it's not a smart thing to do as it would hurt their search engine ranking quite badly.
If it's any help or consolation (probably not), Frybrid say the following on their site:
Todd our Office guy recently took ill and was diagnosed with near complete liver failure and has been unable to work, as a result I have been working 12 hour days trying to understand his filing system and get the orders shipped. Maybe you have the site checked as do not trust in your Internet Options? Just a wild guess.
Why don't you call him? Sometimes emails get dumped in the spam folder.

That's strange, both work for me.
Both www.frybrid.com (http://www.frybrid.com) and www.frybrid.net (http://www.frybrid.net) are working for me. The fact that another person had a problem with the .com version further supports the odds of it being an Internet router somewhere alone the way. If both of your computers are connecting through the same connection or from separate connections via the same ISP from the same physical location, it is likely they would both get routed the same way.
Another possibility if both of your computers are using the same Internet connection through a modem/router (i.e. Comcast or similar cable provider) the routing table in your own router can get acting strange. Unplug the power from the router for 30 seconds and then plug it back in and wait for the front panel lights to settle down. Then try again.
That happened to me recently on the BCM site. Non of our site would come up in my browser. I thought the site was down and called Phil. He checked and there was no problem there. So I power cycled my router and sure enough, everything was fine.
I am connected via a Sprint Air card.
.com takes me to the UK thing over and over but .net works just fine
And another possibility is that they are changing web hosts. It can take 1 to 24 hours for the new routing information to update in all web routers.

Jerry, paranoia can be fun but since I have the same thing going on as you do and I have never been to that site or contacted them before in any way, pretty unlikely that you are being singled out :)
could it be that you are on hughes net? that could be the common denominator Jerry
to add to the weirdness, I could open both pages 10 minutes ago, and now my local DNS claims they don't exists - but I can still ping them!
edit: when I put my glasses on I realized I was spelling the URL wrong - duh! :'(

With those symptoms I would bet on the change in web host or at least a change in where their DNS records were set up.
When we have made such changes Phil and I have done it during the night so that there was minimal disruption. And because the changes were within the same host, it reduced the routing changes and hence the impact on the web. But if someone was making a major change, it really can take 24 hours or in extreme cases (like changing hosting countries) even longer for the changes to saturate all routers on the web.

certainly got me confused as it is wierd that many of you could access the site but i could not. I would like somebody to figure oput what is going on but I'm sure Chris will have a big story to tell about it. I cannot call frybrid as they never answer phone calls unless by pre appointement. I think that he states that somewhere in his info. I have the newest Sprint Air Card and if FLYSSSSSSSSSS. And, that is in an area where I can not taek advantage of its 4G capabilities (only 3G in this area right now). For fifty bucks a month with unlimited downloads, I could not be happier.
I looked it up in some whois searches and there is a change going on in the DNS records. Some sources show it as being updated 07/20/2010 and others show it as 07/21/2010.
The results at one whois showed the DNS servers as being:
DNS Servers: NS1.FRYBRID.NET NS2.FRYBRID.NET
While at another one they show:
Domain servers in listed order:
ULTRA102.UK2.NET
ULTRA101.UK2.NET
Until the changes get saturated around the web, it will cause problems like that.
Since I am able to access their site, I pinged their domain name to get their IP address. Then did a IP whois at ARIN. They show the IP registered to RealWebHost in Dallas.
Judging from all of that, it looks like their site was hosted by a company in the UK and last night they initiated a switch over to the hosting company in Dallas.
Thanks for that info as I am not computer literate as you are to find this out. Then as my direction goes to the uk will this be corrected when all is done? Jerry

When changes cross international boundaries it can take extra time. Considering the variations on the date of the update, I would say they probably did try to do it during the night. But then comes the question "during the night where". Frybrid is based in Seatle and apparently the old host was the one in the UK. A lot of hours difference between them. Then add in the long delays on major DNS changes across different jurisdictions and it is no wonder it is just now taking effect in some areas. Odds are in some parts of the world it will be hours yet or even another day before they have it.
I get the same as Jerry with the dot com address. The other dot net worked for me.
