Just wondering if there are any rv parks near downtown Miami that will allow conversions.... I checked with one in Vero Beach that dont accept conversions???
I dont ask.....I call ahead and ask if they can accommodate a 40 footer. If they say yes I make a reservation.
IF I am ever turned away because it is a conversion and not a S&S I will have my attorney on the phone so fast they will think I called him before I pulled in. It has never happened to date.

There is a place in Homestead right outside of Miami.
Try Larry and Penny Thompson Park - nice place, on the outskirts of Miami near the Zoo...

If you have a towed, go south and stay at Key Largo (about a half hour south of Miami). Anyplace in the Keys is really nice. Good Luck, TomC

Thanks for the replys,,,I have business at a downtown hotel in Miami and would like to commute... I will also be in Vero Beach a few days and hope to park there.... Any suggestions are easier than me looking up and guessing which to choose... Thanks
Not familiar with campgrounds in Vero, but it's a bit of a drive from there to downtown Miami. If you're going to be commuting back and forth between Miami and Vero, you could consider T.Y. Park in Hollywood which is sort of mid-way and close to I-95. http://www.broward.org/Parks/Camping/Pages/Default.aspx (http://www.broward.org/Parks/Camping/Pages/Default.aspx)
It's a nice campground. Gets full in the winter, but in summer there are likely to be spaces available.
