Title: hi temp ceramic potting compound
Post by: JohnEd on June 17, 2010, 02:22:22 AM
Not that anyone here SHOULD know but.....  There is a ceramic potting compound that is used on hi temp electronics connections, etc.  It is water base and pure white and drys to something like a ceramic sharpening rod in hardness.. It can be dug out with the tip of a stout and pointed knife.  Any body here have any info on that stuff?  Name, source, etc.

Thanks,

John

I've used these guys' products before (I'm not paid to say so...)

AREMCO (http://www.aremco.com/a4.html)

I purchase their products from The Graphite Store (http://www.graphitestore.com).

P.S. Do a search of their site with the keyword "ceramacast", they sell down to pint size...
