That was suspose to be 7.3 mph not 703.  ( Fingers have a way of striking the wrong keys)

I've only checked mine twice and am satisfied with the 7 mpg I get.

John,
Several other items to consider. What speed you run is parimount, also size of tires, rear ratio, your foot sensitivity( speed consistency) hills mountains etc.
I have a 6V92TA, 4spd auto, 11R-24.5 tires (I forget the rotation per mile, FS590's) and a standard rear( I think) and I am posting 7.5+ @ 62-63.

I used to run 71-75 with a resultant 5.75 mpg. I slowed down, less stress, better economy.

This is the only bus I have ever driven, but it is all we need & we are super satisfied. The 35'er has maneuvered places I would not have ventured with a larger coach.

Good Luck,

Gary

I get around 6.5 with 8V71 and Spicer with a 3.73 rear gear.  That's towing a little car, through the hills of PA and WV up and down 77 and 79.

The last time checked from N-east Ga to P-cove in Sc. we got 8. We are 8v71 with a 3.33 gear, towing a suzuki sidekick 4-down. I have seen 6.5 to 8.5  ,depends on how hard you drive and how much you stay in lower gears. Glen Rice
