Title: 4106 fuel door
Post by: sweeney153 on June 06, 2010, 07:39:11 PM
OK I have another stupid question. I can't figure out how to open the bay door where the fuel tank is. There is a rubber hinge on the top that is worn out so I know it can open. I can't find any latch or hook or any thing keeping it closed. Can some one give me a clue?

Thanks

Kevin

If it is like the 4104 it is held by two bolts inside two holes in the bottom of the door.

Removing the bolts allows it to swing up on the hinge.

It has been a while since I opened mine and I don't have access to it right now but this is pretty close.

It's bolted. On the bottom, either corner.  Most likely covered with diesel laden dirt and difficult to see.
