Welcome and ha ha ha. You have already proven yourself a nut, haven't even started your project, and already this is only your "first" bus. :) :)
Congrats on the bus.
By any chance, is Ebay shipping you the vehicle? And was a mother selling the bus because her son was killed in Iraq, and she was selling it for $500 dollars because she just wanted to get rid of it? Was she selling through Ebay, because she lived in another state? ;D :D :D ;D Just kidding.
God bless,
John
Welcome MarkMCI&, I also have a 1973 MCI 7. Bought mine already converted and then made some changes. Love it.

Welcome to the madness and congratulations on your purchase. You have a lot of work ahead, but also a lot of satisfaction and enjoyment.
There are several bus nuts within an hour's drive of you. And you are in excellent position to attend the Bussin' 11 Rally in Arcadia at the end of December. And once they are home again, Jack & Paula Conrad will be close by.
Hi, my name is Keith, and I am a bus nut.
(Hi, Keith)
From now on, you will remain addicted, as are most of the voices you will see on this site.
Welcome aboard, and may your last question never be asked.
Enjoy the ride.
Mark,
Congratulations!!! Check your email box for an email from me. I look forward to meeting ya'll when we return home. Jack
Welcome, I suppose You know that You are nuts, correct? The madness is a welcome relief from some of the other things in life. Hope You enjoy the ride. You are lucky You have some new friends close by that can help You when You think You have lost Your mind.LOL Regards John L
Congratulations and welcome.
Just a little thought. You may want to layout your bays first then overlay your floor plan. Either way, keep the lower and outside stuff in mind before you commit to placement inside, may save you some time and headache.
example, my fresh water fill connection is behind a bay door when it is open. Not the end of the world, but a little bit of a hassle when filling.
or the crapper dumping on the tire could be an issue when parked :D :o
Anyway, welcome and keep us posted
Welcome aboard!! Good guys here
Welcome to the madness
Sounds like you have the foundation for a good project.
