Tried to have a look...web page loaded about halfway and quits?? Maybe busy or something. I'll try again later.
Cheers, JR
Very nice, Tim. As usual, you're doing a fantastic job.
What's the countertop made of? Is this the final product, or just underlayment?
Wanted to come up and see you again this year, but didn't have time, and we didn't pass through that way this time as we came down through Leadville from WY to Pueblo. Maybe next year.

Craig,
The top is just particleboard with wax on it. It is temporary for now until I get my sink and cooktop delivered and decide where to put them. At that point I'll use Corian. Thanks for the kind words.

Working now!
Going to be really nice when finished...you don't live near Charlotte, NC?? Bummer. Just thinking about having nice cabs like yours.
What will the doors be filled with (panels) when completed? Looks like a nice place for some translucent panels.
Cheers, JR
Tim Amazing craftsmanship! I have a question, when you attach the basecabinet fronts at the bottom how do you secure it to the floor base? I appreciate the time and effort you put into posting your updates, thanks! Pat
I totally agree with Pat, your craftsmanship is outstanding. It's nice to see that you actually had the forsite to put the trunk liner carpet on the walls before installing the cabinets. Really looks nice. I was amazed how much headroom your have, I am very envious over that. In one picture I could see where the AC ducts will run.
You attention to detail is super. Your shop is even clean!!! Way to go.

Thanks for the kind words folks.
JR... some panels will be mirror (bedroom and hall). The galley was going to be flat or raised panels but I am now rethinking that because of your idea for the translucent panels. Thanks for the Idea ! We are in Colorado.
Pat...The base cabinets have a lower flange fastened to the back of the frame. This flange is about 6" deep and allows fastening to the kicks (base). The interior bottoms of the base cabinets are removeable panels which sit on top of this flange. These panels allow me to remove them to service items in the base area.
Thanks again, Tq
Couple more pics posted if you want to look.
