Title: Cincinnati. OH parking
Post by: Bill B /bus on May 21, 2010, 07:32:05 AM
We intend to be in Cincinnati for a Submarine Veterans convention Aug 30 to Sep 6.
Actually the convention is at the Drawbridge Inn in Fort Mitchell. KY. According to the convention host, campgrounds are booked for the Labor Day weekend. So I'm soliciting suggestions for a parking spot(s). We were counting on the Drawbridge  parking lot but the Inn is saying first come until full. And they won't define full. Really need an alternative to wandering about Ft Mitchell to find a spot if there is no room at the Inn. ;D
I have looked at the Elks. no. Possibly the VFW but they are out to the West of Cincinnati.
Not time critical but any suggestions for further investigation would be welcome.

Thanks
Bill

There is FREE dry camping at the Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.  Perhaps you might want to try your hand at the casino as well.  All expressways to where you are going.

Good Luck.......

You can pay and stay longer at the FMCA if they have room

Thanks for all the info.  Dry camp in hotel lot is first choice. Since its first come until full backup will FMCA or the Elks whichever is easier for travel.

Again thanks,
Bill
