Title: MCI drive axle Rockwell part # or other info!!!!
Post by: NeoplanAN440 on May 20, 2010, 03:24:27 PM
Im still researching my option for a gear swap or complete axle swap!!!

i found a mci Rockwell axle, and from the distance they let me near it,the pumpkin looks exactly as my neoplan counterpart.
wondering if i get away with just the pumpkin!!!

can anybody, that has his bus on a pit tell me what the numbers on the rockwell mci axle are???
does your manual tell something???

the wrecking yards that i found so far, wont let me under the bus,as they have no interest in selling the axle or even only the pumpkin.they use them as parts storage and wanna keep them rolling.i gave up
trying to convince them, that i only need to meassure the bolt pattern and get the numbers!!!

any help

im on my way to CA,and i wanna be prepared when i do my junk yard searches there!!!

thanks

thanks dave for keeping my post up!

i think from the reactions im getting, that most here on the board dont see their bus from underneath as much as i do!!

maybe i should sit more in the driver seat and enjoy the view !
