I am looking at this MC5C with a conversion by BCI Coachworks, (could be BC1), North Palm Beach, CA. Done about 15, 20 years ago. Seems really well done. Anybody heard or know anything about them. The seller thinks they are now out of business.
Also the bus is on 11R24.5 wheels. Did MC5s come with 24.5s or 22.5s? He says it goes about 75mph.
Thanks,
JC
JC,
I know nothing about the coach, or the tire sizes. But I do know that there is a current company that goes by the name of BCI (bus & coach international) that builds and sells a Chinese knock off of an MCI the "BCI Falcon 45" supposedly headquartered in Kansas, but all the buses come off the boat in LA and then onto Vegas before going to wherever the intended customer is based.
;D BK ;D
Yeah I saw One of those on US 190 between Belton, Texas and Killeen, Texas. Looked a little funny.

Now just be careful when you talk about Chinese "knock offs" and them "looken a little funny". The planet in its entirety is listen'n to you guys and its pay'n attention.. ??? :o ::) I saw those buses also and I thought the "Chinese darlings" looked INTERESTING. (PC for severely odd).
John ever mindful :D
JC, according to my parts book they either came with 22.5 x 8.25 tubeless wheels , or 20 x 8.0 tube type split rims. :)
JC, BCI built a good coach several Eagles around he converted, I believe him and Gary Bennett were partners before Gary moved to Vegas. Call Gary at B & B Coach in Las Vegas and he may can answer some questions for you
good luck
