Hey guys, I decided that it is getting hot enough to see if my A/C units even work since I bought it last winter. One of the units fired right up and blows really cold air and works perfect. The other one works good as well but when i switch it from fan mode to A/C mode the compressor doesnt kick on. The fan still blows but it doesnt blow cold A/C air. So what should i check first? I have no experience with A/C so im really not familiar exactly how they work. It is a intertherm sch-13-5AA. Thanks -Josh
if you have a remote thermostat ch wires on it for corrosion...if not'; it is probably low freon and a AC guy needs to look at it.ch for any loose or corroded wires...Good luck Bob
Are you sure compressor is not coming on or just not getting cold? If system is low on freon the compressor will be quiet and no cooling.
