Well, over 2 months and 3500.00 and the windshields are installed. The guy that finally got them in for us was good tho. Ken put aluminum around the opening to hold the windshield, and the glass guy got it glued in. He put black around on the glass, trimmed it out, and it looks good. Now, if we ever have to replace one, it will be a lot easier, and we can build our cabinets at the upper windshield. Who would have ever guess that it would be that big of a deal to put in the windshields. That has been the biggest problem. The bus is ready to use on the road, just need to get it painted now. ;D
Ruthi,
Glad to hear of the great ending to a long drawn out problem. Lookin' forward to seein' a photo of a newly painted Dina from GA. Jack
Good news! Now get that thing finished! ::)
I sure hope that's the last time you have to deal with that, I mean gee wiz!
Looking forward to more pictures too! ;D

I can understand the emotions......after having those problems too!.........waiting for the pictures!
Thanks yall, it is quite a relief. Cant wait to see the end results. ;D I took some pics of the windshield, dont know yet how they turned out, will post when I get time. Ken is getting ready for another run.
Hey Ruthi,
I talked to Ken this afternoon. I am glad that you all have that behind you now, I will be doing my southern run wek after next . I hope to have time to stop by and see you all and the bus.
Congratulations! I had been following your updates and I would NEVER have the pacience to handle your scenario so well!
;D Thanks, trust me when I say we were at our ropes end. We pretty much had to beg the glass people to deal with it, as they were stressed out too. But, all things considered, the last guys did a good job, and charged reasonable, considering they had to drive from Macon to do it. We never thought we could be so happy to see bus windows installed. With that and the title change behind us, we are set!
