Anybody know a good campground to hunker down in for a couple of days near Petal, MS?? The Road Trip starts on May 11 to Evergreen, AL to visit my brother for a few days, and then to Petal, MS to visit the kids. Any busnuts in the neighborhood???
Check out RVparkreviews.com. There are several parks in Hattiesburg. Okatoma park looks like a good deal with a recent review.

We did not!! Y'all are just avoidin' us. We will be in your neighborhood sometime in August. Will you be home ;D
Sounds like there should be an Ohio GTG this summer? Jack
We're aiming at Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota in August.... how about July or September for the Ohio GTG? But not the end of September, the other half has been promised we'll go to the Jerusalem Ridge bluegrass festival then. John, how long will you be out on the road this summer?
John, how long will you be out on the road this summer?
We are going to L. A. and MS for a couple of weeks starting May 11. Assuming Diesel prices stay within our budget, we plan on Michigan and ?? after Lois harvest her garden. We will stay out until it gets "too cool to camp". We talked about going to Ft Leavenworth, KS. That's why we are going to MS, the kids are leaving for KS shortly after we visit. The Son-in-Law is a Lt. Colonel in the Army National Guard, he's one of those guys in the guard who is on active duty all the time.
Hope to see you on the road. We could have a GTG in Ohio. I know at least 5 coaches who could be there. Tom will have to find us a place to have it. Tom are you listening?? I will reduce my appearence fee to something reasonable ;D
BTW where to find info on the J. Ridge BG Festival?
Here ya go Jack

Thanks Jack, I looked at that and the dates are still 2009.... I guess they are working on it.
John, my link to the festival (which kinda looks the same as Jack's) says the dates are September 30 - October 3, 2010. Carl Sell was saying he wants to go there this year too. And we may be in the Michigan area this summer also... we should coordinate.
we should coordinate
I will stay in touch, maybe we can get something going. We will be in Sanford, MI. Come on up, plenty of parking and 110 elec. I would like to go to Jerusalem Ridge too, don't know if we can work that out yet.
sounds more like a Michigan GTG. But i think i have at least 3 inexpensive or free sites for a few buses. the inexpensive ones can handle a lot, like 50. the free sites might be 10, but i haven't seen it yet.
John, i know i cannot afford your fees, so just drop the cook off :D :D :D.
with food and utensils.
see you this summer, i hope.
Not to put pressure on for you to do it but ;D, Where and when is it going to be, and will it be before the weekend of September 30?? We will help out, all you have to do is "Build it so they will come".
There is always the M.A.C.C festival that cody is involved with. I think the dates are in July.
