Title: Wheel interchangeabilty - MCI to GM 4905

Hi, Can anyone tell me if the front wheels from a late 1970's MCI will work on a 4905 ? I'm guessing that the bolt pattern is the same, but not sure about the offset - (dish). I've found a bus that just came in a scrap yard with a nice set of tires that I'm hoping will bolt right on. Thanks for your help.

I know it opens a whole can of worms which has been thrashed numerous times but how old are the tires?

Best of luck though. I'd love to find some good tires in a yard myself, I'm in desperate need.

Wheels are stamped with all info you need to compare the two. If they're the same it should work.

The tires are like new. The bus died on the highway last week the towing company hauled it in and the bus was not worth fixing, so off to the scrap yard to help pay the towing bill.
