Last weekend I took the 47 MCI Courier out for a little spin with its new shoes.
I took the rear 1100 x 20 tires from my bus and put them on the rear of the MCI
Then I put the 1200 x 20 tires from Fishbowl Brians bus on the front.
Raised the bus nicely now I have 22.5 rims all the way around on My bus and the 47 has lots of tread.
I can not believe the get up and go this bus has with the 6 cyl Continental engine R6572
The less weight you add in the conversion, the more get up & go you'll keep.
Marble & granite look good, but carry a residual price . . .
Looks good with the 5 hole rims.
What color are you planning on for the bus?
The inside of the bus is completly finished. It was a conversion done in the 60's The PO used it as a hotel room for his work ( Crane operator ) then as a camper when he retired.
Not sure what I'm going to do and when, Currently it gets all the " hand me downs " from the parts buses that I have bought over the years.
Brians bus was robbed of conversion pieces for my project and what wasn't used the 47 gets upgrades.
I am currently up grading the 47 on the side mainly to save it I'm sure you know what that is all about Kyle :).
I understand saving cool classics. ;D 8)
I ain't got that much experience when it comes to taking them for a spin . . . . :o
When you're ready to give it a good run, come on down.....you can park in BOTNs spot.
Lookin' good!!!

Thanks for the invite Mark also for the privilage to park in BOTN personal spot :)
But maybe I should park closer to your MCI so there is no ground shock :) and leave room for Bob.
We could hide the Prevoo in between.... :D
Have a great day!

I'm waiting for the covered shelter with full length pit. We should have been parked there a month ago - could be shopping for a replacement now.
