I called NAPA and was quoted $75 for this item. I bid $25 and it was accepted.

John
Cha Ching! ;D
wouldn't work for me as still a open hole that sucked off the methane gas from the crapper.
JohnEd ,75 bucks is a little high in price for the minder I buy the remote mount from Ryder for a little over 40 bucks and the direct mount for around 20 bucks.
Have you saw the fuel filter minders by Racor tells you when the fuel filter is getting plugged I bought one to try it and see if it works.
good luck
Last year in Arcadia Manny and me both bought one each for ten bucks exactly like this one and it has worked great ever since I installed it!
Clifford,
I heard of them and I will get one as it makes every bit as much sense as the air filter minder. It is like their add said "change the filter only when it needs to be changed". How many needles changes would I have to "endure" for this thing to pay for itself? And how many would I change early because it got plugged for the fuel savings to start adding up? Cars, boats, trucks, RV's.....who doesn't need one just for the economy.
If I can't beat that $20 dollar number can I lean on you?
Thanks,
John
Check out that guy's eBay store. Lots of Detroit and bus parts.
