I changed the VDO oil sending unit gauge onmy 6V92TA and now the readings are as follows.

I changed the oil sending unit and I am getting the following readings. Low idle 750 RPM front gauge is reading 58# back mechanical gauge reading 33#. Fast idle 1150 RPM front gauge reading 90# back mechanical gauge reading 55#. I have 3 loops in the sending unit wire and it did not make any difference in the readings. What do you suggest I try now?

JC, Napa sold you the wrong sending unit sounds like you have a 60# and VDO requires a 90# unit I am checking to see if I have a VDO sender for you.

I checked the package it says 80# PSI taking it back to NAPA.
