Got word yesterday that fellow busnut Tom Mason aka white eagle was admitted to Lakeland Regional Hospital yesterday with high blood pressure and chest pains! Other than he was in ICU, nothing else to report at this time! Only found this out by mere accident from yet another busnut we happened to see in a shopping center parking lot! Fran I understand is with friends here and doing ok! I will try to post more if I can find anything!

Didn't know you posted this Ace, but thanks for the good wishes from all. it turned out to be a non-event, but when you get the chest pains, nauseous, high blood pressure for the first time, everyone says go.
turns out 180 isn't abnormal blood pressure if they can bring it down. Who knew? So now I'm pill poppin for awhile until someone can figure out what did happen.
Like i said, thanks for the prayers and well-wishes from everyone, they probably helped more than the Dr did, although the hospital staff was efficient and friendly. i'm back in the bus which does reduce my stress levels just being here.

Tom I've been on lipitor and blood pressure meds for years. When they first did the tests I met with the doc and he said "its not too bad - we can control it with diet" To which I responded "like hell we can control it with diet, bring on the drugs." I knew exactly where he'd be in the morning when I couldn't have bacon and eggs for breakfast. I'm a big fan of the pharmaceutical industry.
