Title: Freebie
Post by: Ed Hackenbruch on March 27, 2010, 12:56:33 PM
In October of 2003 when i went to the Dallas area and picked up the 1968 MCI 5A that i bought on Ebay. It had a set of South Central Bus Nuts  plaques on it. I took them off and stored them with some other things in my storage unit. In going thru some boxes the other day i came across them and have decided to give them away to the first 2 people that want them and post their names here. After posting here first, you can then PM your mailing address to me. As stated, these are free, i will also pay the postage, :)  Ed

Thanks Ed,
The reason I wanted them, is I have a friend thats a member of the club and I'll give them to him to go back to the club. Do you know who owned the bus before?

Richard

Well....On Second Thought..If The Other Guy Wants Both For A Club....Then I Would Hate To See Them Broke Up.

Not That Big A Deal For Me. Its Just I Collect Bus Stuff.

Thanks

Ok Richard, i would like to see them go back to the club myself, so seeing as how John agrees with that, i will send them both to you. :)  my bus was owned by Dick and Virginia Jasinsky out of Missouri. They did the conversion in the last 4 months of 1983 and used it for 20 years. They put almost 250,000 miles on it before they decided it was time to downsize to a smaller rv.  I bought it from a dealer north of Dallas and late the next year when we were doing a 15 state, 10,000 mile trip, we made a detour to go see if we could meet Dick and Virginia. We did met him, but she was in the hospital for some eye surgery so we never got to meet her. I hope nobody else has posted while i have been typing this, as this is what i am going to do as of the last post that i read before composing this.  Ed

Thanks John & Ed,

I'll call my friend this evening and see who remembers Dick & Virginia. As it is they are at a So. central Bus Nut Rally somewhere around Lubbuck, Tex doing a rattlesnake hunt.
