What's the difference between a 9F80 and a 9280 injector??
Other than the letter F :P
I know that they are both are 9 hole at a 80 shot, but I can't figure out the difference between a F or a 2. The only thing I can think of would be the spray pattern??
Any help would be appreciated.
Wow, 98 lookers and no responses...not even the funny ones! I'd love to help, but as it has been brought to my attention...I don't even own a bus!
I'll be looking to see what you find out so I can be a bit smarter too.
I did some searching for you as I have no clue and it is well out of my element. What I found was injectors for the 8V92 all start with the # 92 and the last 2 didgets are the size. The 80 is "80 millimeter" which apparantly is generally as small as they come. An injector with the # 9225 would represent one that is 125 mm. I have not a clue what the f would stand for. The board has been slow today and i am sure wiser ones will be along soon enough.
The F is a California engine smog injector and the 9280 injector is federal from the 70's era also Scott lot's of 8V92 had 7G75 injectors
good luck

That makes sense. I just couldn't figure out what the F was.
I'm working on a MCI-9 with 9F80's and was just curious.
