Also, the "snipers" on ebay wait until the last minute, sometimes the very last minute, to bid. I know, I've done it myself!!

Ed,

Nothing wrong with sniping. I think it is good tactics.

I've sniped a bunch of small things but never bought anything really big. Even though I found my 4104 on ebay I didn't buy it there because I once bought a dump truck without inspecting it first. Big mistake, won't do that again!

I lucked out. It was 1000 miles away and i only saw pics of it. Turned out it was better than represented. Have been real happy with it for almost 7 years now. ;D
