Would anybody have a pumpkin, or ring & pinion 3:70 ,for a MC 7, 8, or 9?

There is one on Ebay, price is to high. Seller not sure of ratio, 388?  With a little looking should find one cheap.  Tom Y

Would Sam Caylor have one? He might have some of the older models that he might want to clear some of the parts out.

Richard, there is a guy in Channelview Tx that was parting out some MCI's I think they were 9's I know the location it was about 1 block north of I 10 at the Dell Dale exit sorry I don't have a number but there are a bunch of buses in that area between Dell Dale and the river bridge.
And I also saw a couple of MCI 9's being parted out on hiway 190 between Belton and Ft Hood one was a NJT

I had bought a rebuilt ring and pinion from Valley Truck a number of years ago for $1400.

I just rebuilt the ring/pinion in my MC7 in Tampa for $850.00

I talked to Sam Caylor this morning and he has the pumpkin for a MC-7- $600. I'm leaning toward that but am still ckecking.

Dallas, thank you. Since my background is trucking...I am always looking for those common denominators between trucks and buses...hope that explains it a bit more.
