Other than driving my coach home from Chicago it has pretty much been in storage since, but now some activity will finally begin. I have found a place only 3 miles from my home (when the Bridge reopens) where I have 24/7 access in a heated facility complete with power and a dump station. Thanks to a fellow bus nut. On Thursday I have an appointment at C&J Bus Repair, to do a "baseline" where all the fluids are changed, all appropriate lubrication is done etc. C&J will then put it on a rack and inspect the under carraige (sp) and make recommendations of what else might need repair. I want them to show and teach me what I should be looking for.
Looking forward to the start of a neat adventure.

A heated facility is nice. ;D
I'm working towards that, but it takes time.
Sounds like you're starting out on the right path by having C&J go over (under) the mechanicals with you.
You may want to ask them to point out things that will need servicing eventually, so you can make allowances to access them later - if the opportunity presents itself. ;)
Have FUN!
Chuck,
I'm still interested in possibly sharing that space with you if there is enough room.
Glad to hear your taking her to JD and the boys. Make sure you say hi to Dan that guy knows buses big time.

Chuck,
Sounds like you are on the right track! Great you found a place to park it while you work on it.
Have fun and be safe!
Where are the pics? ;D
Paul
Chuck,
Where are you located? Where will the bus be? I'm out by Delano. JD is an excellent resource. Aside from JD the guy to know is Steve. He's one of the parts guys that really knows whats going on.
I'd love to see your coach sometime.

Fred, I am in Stillwater Mn, normally my bus would be 2.9 miles away. Now it is about 20.9 ):
Maybe we can meet halfway in a restaurant with a large parking lot.
