Great blast - I enjoy looking back and seeing where we have been, only to know that someday we will be some history buff's research project.

Sure would like to have the Eagles on the sides! 8)
looks like his drive wheels are deep down in a hole. Wonder if he was stuck? If so, someone probably brought out a John Deere popper and pulled him out.

"Two wrongs don't make a right..." No, but three lefts do...Cable
It also appears to be missing an engine.

It sure does. It definitely will need the John Deere, then.

Here is how it looks now. All restored and built into the Ernest Tubb Record Shop near Opryland. It used to sit in the parking lot out there for years. It has been inside now for about 8-9 years. you can actually go up inside and see the restored interior just as it was when ET used to ride... It feels tiny compared to what we have now.

Yeah, they did make a few improvements when the restored it. You can see they got rid of those big ugly door hinges too.
I wonder why the 3rd bay door is closed in. I never noticed that before but will have to check it next time I am in Nashville. Wish this thread had been a few weeks earlier. I just got back from Nashville.
Sorry! I posted it right when I saw it!
Maybe I just need more trips to Nashville. ;)
