I have noticed since day one of ownership a rattle near the right rear dual. If I hit a bump just right it rattles pretty good. My wife noticed it if that tells you anything :o. I was using the power washer the other day and noticed oil al over the shock at the right rear dual. I was sanding the white top off of my bus and replacing the elastemer so I could not slow down for a rain cloud was threatening me. It got dark and that is the last bit of time I had beofre the work week started.
Would htis more than likely be a seal in the wheel hub or do the shocks leak oik when they go bad? I am in the line of thinking the shock is bad and thus the annoying rattle.
Shocks do leak when they go bad. The rattle might be bad bushings in the shock mounts.

I had a front shock do that.
And you do want to change it asap. Mine badly cupped an otherwise good tire in short order.
Wayne, if one is leaking replace all 8 most of us Eagle owners are using adjustable gas shocks on the drive and boggie with the double action standard shock on the steering.
The numbers are posted on the Eagle board in the tech section, they are here also if you can find it and you can order the rear and boggie shocks from Auto Zone or Napa for about 50 bucks each and the front shocks from Jefferson.
The rattle will probably be the boogie shocks

It gives part numbers for shocks to fit your Eagle.

LuvRbus that is good advice. I will change all of them prior to our next departure. I did notice the front bounces pretty bad if you hit a dip or rise. I don't like that at all. I guess I woul dbe fooling myself if I told myself there is an end to fixing things on a bus, huh?

I did get the top done and went back with 4 coats of the elastemer. Now I can buff the paint and get that powder junk off and make her look like she is supposed to.
I am feverously gathering parts for the WVO conversion as we speak.
