is there anywere on the net that I can look at stuff like that or order it, I would like to start my wish list, maby do some myself and maby find places that do some of that kind of thing, I think I could put the window stuff on but a front end might be out of my comfort range
What's a front end? You mean a cap?
yea a cap or doghouse the front of the bus ,ive seen some with what looks like a fiberglass front end that make the bus look really differant, really im interested in finding some of that alum to skin over the windows to make it look a bit more like a coach then a greyhound, plus im thinking it might stay a little bit cooler with that on the sides down here in the fla sun,
also is there any how to web sites on this thanks
The front and rear caps on my bus came from R&M fiberglass. http://www.rm-fiberglass.com/ (http://www.rm-fiberglass.com/)
Is that what you mean?
yea thats ex what I ment, you have to excuse me im new to this busnut thing, I hate to admit it but Im thinking I have it bad, do they also make the parts togo over the windows, id like to maby cover for or 5 on each side
I used 16 gauge cold roll sheet. accepts paint good.doesn't seem to distort in sun.can be screwed or riveted on..for windows..local sheetmetal shop for source.most will cut to your size.
from the looks of you bus picture it already has caps...front coach stainless from MCI...or IBP in Apoka Fla
To cover windows, we purchased sheets of .063 aluminum at Bob Dean Supply in Ft. Myers. Also purchased any steel angle iron and steel square tubing we needed from them. Stainles steel replacement panels came from International Bus & Parts in Apopka, FL (near Orlando). Jack

I think I could go to garden street steel and get a good deal too, is there any sites that show this being done to the windows. I really like the sst so I dont think I would change the front of the bus.

There have been several great threads and folks who had sites showing step by step how they did the skinning and roof raises and everything else too. But I'll be darned if I can remember who or where!
