was given a box with tire pressure sensors in it.no directions....don't know brand....70802646 on monitor;box has 349 B sticker;1524 written in magic marker...10 sensors...guy was going to throw in dumpster,has never been installed.....what do I have???a treasure or not

Tire Safe Guard is the only brand I know of that doesn't have a name on the monitor and have funny looking senors and a small monitor about 4 x 3 were sold by Bob Hunter

not like tire safeguard...has small monitor about 2 1/2 by 4 10 monitors....screw on valve stems look like mushrooms....tool to install them on stems..

Not to change the subject but to add to it, I bought one of those temp/laser sensors and when I stop I walk around the bus and check temps on the tires. It works pretty good. It also comes in handy setting the tranny cooler fan and checking the temps on the trailer hubs. Just an idea.
Bob, as someone noted, PressurePro sensors are labeled.
Scott, using a temperature gun is a reasonable BACKUP to a good sensor system. I have had a lot of experience that suggests that by the time a tire starts to heat up pretty good, it is pretty low on pressure and the potential for damage is significant. In addition, using the gun can be a bit confusing. The affects of sun on one side or side wind (loads the down-wind side) can result in pretty significant temperature differences.
My worst fear is that after I check the tires, I will run over something and not know my tire is going down. Tire pressure monitor systems catch that kind of problem before a tire is ruined and damage is done to the toad or motorhome.
Having said that, I "shoot" the tires AND HUBS at each rest stop.

I can understand that Jim and agree. I basically bought the temp gauge to set the tranny cooler and what the heck. Short of the tire sensor system and checking air pressure constantly it is just another easy way to check stuff over.

Most of this kind of stuff is manufactured overseas, and usually gets rebranded for large customers.
found link..haven't found same set up...going to plug in and figure it out...worth finding out if it even works..no simple answer here as there is no markings any where except a qc stamp..thanks I didn't know there was so many different ones.
