Title: OK now that there are calmer waters, I can update y'all!

A new thread on this subject;

OK things were quite hectic and have sorta calmed!(I just hope it ain't the calm before the storm! ;))

Alright! Friday AM before I was able to call Mr. Bowen as Mike suggested, Richard (the man the trip to Selma, AL was for) called and told me not to worry he had a friend who had an older bus that looked nice inside and out as well as ran like a top and he could use it for the trip if he needed too! (Richard owns a transportation company using vans and subs "big bus trips" out to us, and drives them if he is able)
So after he and I talked for a minute I asked him "It's your trip, and yer call, what do you wanna do?" Well he decided since he knew this bus was a sure thing, he'd better just go that route! (And I agreed since I had no solid solution yet!)

Then my sister and I hurried to Huntington, TN to a County Tax sale to buy a piece of property that attaches to my grandmothers old home! (mom & dad are going to move into gramma's old house, at least for now!)

On the way home from the sale (yes we got the property and fer less than we had budgeted for it!) Setra called and stepped up to the plate, telling me they had us a loaner if we could re-arrange things to where we didn't need it on Friday or REAL early AM Saturday!
So I told them I was sure he could make everything work out! (since I had the early AM trip covered!)

But I still needed a bus for Saturday if available as I was unaware at the time that the driver of one of the '95 Setra's had issues Thursday night also! But he knew I already had major headaches, and whatever was going on with "Lil' Bus" was an intermittent electrical glitch where it would occasionally lose all power and throttle response. But playing with the cruise control, or patting the pedal would bring it back to life! So if I absolutely had to use it I could have!

So When I got back to the office I found the note about that.
And I looked things over and called Setra and told them as long as I could have the "loaner" say by 9"00 AM in McKenzie, or pick it up earlier in Nashville, TN.
Which I did, I met the "driveaway" at 6:00 AM on in Nashville.
I went from Nashville to and picked it up, drove to McKenzie, loaded up and took the baseball team to Memphis and they did win today!

So things have gotten better!

Yes - Yes - Yes

We have all been watching this and praying about it, so to see light at the end of the tunnel is a real positive.

I hope things continue to go the way you need them to, so business can get back to "normal", and leave the hiccups behind.

OK, now I'm a little slow so you gotta type slower so I can understand, you bought a piece of property with a home for gene and donna, now I'm assuming that it is also going to be the new bus home too. I think thats great, now if setra is working it out too thats even better but there is still the warrenty on that busted cooler to deal with and loose ends to tie up, so how can we help.

Like others, I am glad that things seem to have taken a turn for the better.  I sure hope so!

We really felt your pain and I know that I felt helpless to be able to be any help.

OK Cody, yes, no, yes, yes, and we will!

Yes dad has acquired his mothers old house. (so he & mom will be moving in there)
And we bought the vacant property (nice big lot with privacy fence on 3 sides) so the pups will have room to run while "visiting gramma & grampa".

New bus home is probably gonna be the "new" place we found in Huntingdon that we have fallen in love with! 45'X70' shop with a 50'X18' lean to attached that has a dirt floor. The floor of the lean to is going to have a pit put in it while pouring the concrete, a door put in the end, and the open side walled so it will be part of the shop! The office building has a full kitchen, 1 & 1/2 baths and a finished apartment! (for me and the pups!)
Dad & I are gonna make an offer on it tomorrow! (and we're sure he'll take it as we aren't to far off his asking price {with the state $ for a "house purchase" for the relocation.)

Yes Setra is working with us, BOA has backed off and we are working together now.
And Setra is loaning us this "loaner" while the Allison shop does some pressure tests, pulls the trans & cooler, and sends the cooler back to Setra, and we'll send the first one back too! Then Setra is sending the coolers to Germany to be tested to find out if there is a flaw or defect in them or the design!

So all in all things are working out!

Cody we will have parking in McKenzie (mom has a list already) and in Huntingdon (I have a growing list! ;))

Anyone who wants to help is welcome to come!
Would be nice to have someone with constuction experience to help with pit and concrete floor! ;)

Cody is already slated for wood work and carpentry supervision! ;D

Many other projects will be available too! (moving will be available also! ;))

Bryce, I used to be a Contractor (still keep my hand in) and would be willing to assist, if you need an extra body.

Let me know when and where, and I will make the trip.
