Lea and I were blown away today when a friend and his wife from our Church decided to make our day by giving us these two brand new couches that we had ordered from him. If I was half the person most of my friends are the world would be a better place.
Once in a while we really do get the bear don't we huh???

On a little more concerning note I spoke to the receptionist at my mechanics shop (who also happens to be his mom) and I asked if any progress had been made on the 8V92 and she spoke to one of the other mechanics at the shop because Curt is on a service call and he said the smoking issue has either completely cleared up with the tune up or is considerebly better but he said that the motor had developed a miss. So I'm sitting here waiting for Curt to call and tell me what's going on. My hope is that one of the injectors they put in is not working correctly. I plan either way to go out tomorrow and give it a listen and video tape it. I'll upload the video tomorrow for those of you that are interested. I sure hope it's just an injector....
This repower thing is not for the faint hearted... and it's expensive as all get out.
I keep thinking how she's gonna run up them hills and make this all worth it in the end! :) :)

Rick, I am a firm believer that there are a lot more good people in the world than the bad.
I got a surprise today the paramedic that transported my wife after our ordeal on his day off today him and his pardner came out and changed all of our door locks and dead bolts (3) repaired the door jam and installed 2 in motion lights.
They bought the materails out of their pockets and I tried to pay them but these two young men would not take a dime now I have 3 doors that use the same key lol

I am always pleased when good things happen to good people, there are so many good people out there but it seems the only ones that make the news are the bad ones.

Cody, maybe there'll come a day when we, as a nation and as people in general, will look for the good in folks and the world around us more. If it ever happens, I hope I'm around to see it.
Until that happens, settling for what people like these folks did today for us, just a couple everday joes helping a couple everyday joes like you and me out is a priviledge and a blessing.
