Good evening:
On Friday I pick up my new to me conversion. It is a 1979 35 foot Prevost converted by Liberty coach, powered by a 6V-92 through an Allison auto, with 119,000 miles on the clock. Although I won't be starting from scratch, it is 31 years old and will need more than a little TLC at times. It allegedly has been stored inside most of it's life and it does look like it. It has two owners one of them a charter bus operator and the latest a trucking firm operator, so it has been well maintained. (I hope). It has more bus systems than I have the knowledge to understand, Espar air heat, ee heat off of the gen set, engine heat, cruise air, bus air etc etc. Most of which work.
I found it on www.buybyebirdie.com (http://www.buybyebirdie.com) if you look in the line up of buses on the right, it is the 35 foot Prevost. (Need to figure out to make that link live)
Wish me luck on the drive home. I have tow insurance.
I am not new to RVing, I have a 32 foot fifth wheel pulled by a Volvo 770 class 8, with 1650 ft lbs of torque and a 13 spd transmission.

What year did the 6v92's start appearing, just curious, expiring minds want to know.
1974 it hit the scene. It came in after the 671 series.
Hi Chuck...live just across the river in Somerset. Hope to meet you, enjoy the ride. :)

Welcome.
Chuckd,
Best of Luck with your new purchase. I like the 35'er, with the MCI5C. I did see a low mileage Prevost for a long time on a site, Phil Cooper's site. Great looking unit.
Welcome.
